Our teams are made up of all ages and experience but some reasonable level of fitness is necessary. Generally a minimum age of 18 is required but those who do not quite qualify on this basis can join an older adult on the team. There is no upper age limit and over the years we have been joined by people from 16 to over 70. The teams of mixed ages, professional or amateur interests and country origins, work extremely well and make our expeditions strong and well balanced. They are not just treks designed for young people but focused teams of enthusiasts who love the idea of wilderness exploration with a purpose and working with highly experienced people.
How fit do you need to be? We do adjust our programme and locations within this large park to suit the team; sometimes we find it better to split the team to make sure that everyone can operate at their own level of comfort. Some of the terrain is quite steep but there is no rock climbing involved. We find people adjust very quickly and soon get used to the healthy outdoor living; however if you have serious health problems or physical disability you may find this is not for you. Everyone is interviewed personally so we can discuss your own situation at that stage.
